STUDENT MINISTRY

Being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community,

as we are loving God and loving others.

The Southwest Student Ministry seeks to be a ministry of mission, mercy and transformation.

We strive for students at Southwest to connect with God,

connect with the church and reach out to friends and neighbors.

We seek to create environments and experiences

in which the students can come into the presence of God and be transformed.

As the hands and feet of Jesus,

we seek to provide opportunities for students to reach into the community,

and be the presence of Christ, providing love and mercy for those in need.

Sunday Mornings:

Sunday mornings are designed to help students grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.

We encourage one another and dive into God’s Word to discover its truth for us today.

Wednesday Nights:

This is an opportunity for us to get together midweek to spend time learning what the Bible says

about issues important to our generation. This is a safe place where we regularly share the Good News

that there is a God who, not only loves us, but also wants to have a relationship with us.

BFF Fridays:

The first Friday of every month is set aside for teen fellowship and devotionals.

We believe it is important for strong relationships to be formed within the church.

We plan events that promote community and relationship building.

Southwest Student Ministry is a place for all students to belong, to connect with God and join in his ministry.

“We invite you to join with us on this journey and may we walk together with God.”
